A classic wedding that has stunning creams & peach tones! We love the look of the wedding party that had more groomsmen and bridesmaids. This completely shows that having an odd number wedding party can work!

FROM THE BRIDE:
1. What made you chose your venue{s}?
Nyle and I fell in love in Minneapolis so we knew that it was the city we would get married in. We on a whim walked into Aria one afternoon while they were setting up for an event and immediately loved it. We looked at several venues around the Twin Cities but, for us, nothing compared to Aria. It is urban, romantic, full of unique art work, and beautiful even when it is empty.
2. What inspired your wedding day outfits?
Our wedding is the biggest celebration of our lives to date! We wanted to be dressed to enjoy every minute, have fun, and hopefully love to look back on our attire and still love it.
3. What inspired your wedding decor? Why did you choose the things that you did?
Aria’s space definitely was our guide. I love gold! Warm tones of pinks and peaches seemed to accent gold well.
4. What was your favorite part of the day?
Nyle says he loved so many parts of the day but the moment that we walked down the stairs as we were introduced as a couple for the beginning of the reception was a highlight. Standing on the landing of the steps looking out over our friends and family was so special.
I also loved so many moments: seeing Nyle for the first time under the chandeliers, hearing the incredible speeches from our friends and family, and dancing to Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. But most of all, our Ceremony stands out to me as the most amazing part of the day. Walking out with my dad towards the aisle, and seeing everyone for the first time smiling back at us, I felt this wave of joy wash over me, it was the coolest feeling, it’s hard to describe. I thought our pastor’s sermon was pretty incredible as well, and nothing is better than exchanging vows with the person of your dreams.
5. Do you have advice for engaged couples still in the planning process? I heard a lot of advice just as many other brides do in the planning process. Some advice will be true for you and some will miss the mark. Just decide as a couple what you think you want your wedding to feel like and do your best. The day that is planned will end up being the perfect day either way so don’t sweat the small stuff. In the end you’ll be married to your partner in life! Also, listen to your vendors when they offer ideas and advice, they are professionals you chose for a reason, value their talent (Thanks Erin for having us walk down from the balconies…so awesome and we never would have thought of it!)
6. Did you have any Do it Yourself {DIY} projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?
I tried to minimized DIY projects because I felt that would keep my stress levels a little lower but I did venture into a few. My half sisters mother (like a second mom to me) has beautiful hand writing. She graciously made several informational signs we placed around Aria to help give guests information and we placed them in gold frames. I made the card box and table numbers with glue, beautiful paper from Paper Source and a really fabulous gold pen. We also made our guests name table cards using small gold frames purchased in bulk with the help of my parents. Lastly we arranged baskets in the men’s and women’s bathrooms to provide guests with a few personal essentials.
